We connect your ERP with the shop floor.

No manual re-entry, no spreadsheets, no data islands. With workstation screens, QR codes and integration with your ERP, MES and PLCs, order progress and rejects go straight from the shop floor into your system.

  • ERP, MES, WMS and PLC integration
  • Keep your current ERP
  • Audit, rollout, support

What we do

We solve operational problems. Not technology problems.

Operational audit

We look at how work and data really flow through production, planning, quality, logistics and the office. You get a prioritized list of improvements: what to automate, where AI makes sense, and where a cleaner process is enough.

ERP, MES and WMS integration

We connect ERP, MES and WMS with what happens on the shop floor. Order, material and progress data moves between systems automatically — no more manual re-entry or spreadsheets on the side.

Shop-floor and warehouse software

Production planning and monitoring, workstation screens, QR codes and barcodes, reporting to the ERP, PLC integration. Built for your plant where a standard product does not fit how the floor really works.

AI in the systems you already have

Production data analysis, quality control support, assistants for staff, document processing. We add AI where it replaces manual work, not where it looks good on a slide.

Software engineers in your team

Experienced software engineers join your team and work with your tools and processes. They know production and warehouse systems, so you don’t have to explain what a work order or a PLC is.

Where plants lose money

If your plant is growing but shop-floor information still lives on paper, in Excel and in the heads of shift leaders, this list will look familiar.

—Order progress written on paper, then typed into the ERP
—A production plan that no longer matches what happens on the floor
—To find out where an order is, someone has to walk to the floor
—Production and quality reports built by hand from spreadsheets
—Rejects with no recorded reason, so the same defects come back
—No traceability: nobody knows which batch a faulty product came from
—Machine and PLC data that never reaches any system
—Spreadsheets next to the ERP: every department has its own numbers

Case studies

We know industry from the shop floor and the control systems, not only from the office. We don’t name clients (NDA), but we do show the scope and our role.

Radiator manufacturer · Poland

Production management system

Problem

Each order goes through welding, assembly, painting, quality control and packing. Progress at every stage had to be typed into the ERP by hand.

What we did

  • Production planning and monitoring, from order preparation to packing.
  • Screens built for each workstation: task queue, order data, materials and available operations.
  • Progress recorded with QR codes and barcodes, rejects with reasons, trolleys, pallets and labels handled in the system.
  • ERP integration and connections to presses, welding and painting equipment, and QR code readers: shop-floor data reaches the system without manual re-entry.
  • Built in stages and checked with the people in the plant; now in maintenance and further development.

Result

The whole radiator production process, from order to packing, is fully integrated with the ERP. Data from the machines and QR readers goes straight into the system: no time lost re-typing, orders move through the floor faster, and defects are caught at the workstation before the radiator moves on.

Intralogistics automation manufacturer · Austria

Automated warehouse control software

Problem

The manufacturer builds automated warehouses: autonomous mobile robots, conveyors, lifts and picking stations, all run by one central control system connected to WMS, ERP, MES and PLCs (Siemens S7, OPC UA). Every change to that system goes to live installations.

What we did

  • New features in the central control software.
  • Analysis of incidents on live installations as third-level support.
  • Migration from .NET Framework to .NET 8/10.
  • Configuration of new installations.

Result

Our features and fixes run in warehouses that operate 24/7 in Europe and beyond.

Who this is for

Manufacturers and intralogistics companies, and the people who run them.

Manufacturers whose ERP does not know what is happening on the shop floor
Intralogistics companies and automation manufacturers that need engineers who know control systems
Production managers who want to see order status without walking the floor
COOs and management boards who want to know where the plant loses time and money before deciding what to invest in
Smaller plants with 20–80 people: the company has grown, but the floor still runs on paper and spreadsheets

How the audit works

01

Discovery

We go to the shop floor and talk to people in production, planning, quality and the warehouse. We see what is slow, what is manual and where information gets lost.

02

Audit

We map how an order and its data move from the ERP to the workstations and back. We find bottlenecks and double entry, and estimate how much time and money each area costs.

03

What to fix — and in what order

We recommend specific integrations, workstation screens and automations, ranked by impact on production, effort, and fit with the way your plant works.

04

Implementation

We build the highest-value changes first. Then we check with your team that they work in practice: on a real shift, not in a demo.

What you get

After the audit you get material you can act on — not a vague strategy deck.

01

Order and data flow map

How an order and its data move through the plant today — ERP, planning, workstations, quality, warehouse — and where they fall back to paper.

02

Bottleneck and waste analysis

The specific steps, handovers and manual entries that cost the most time, with an honest estimate of what each one costs per week.

03

Ranked list of improvements

Every improvement ranked by impact on production versus effort. You know what to start with and what to defer.

04

Estimated savings per change

How many hours per week or how much cost per month each change would save. Based on your processes, not industry averages.

05

Quick wins vs. structural changes

Clearly separated: what can be fixed in days, what needs ERP integration or new software, and what only needs a cleaner process.

06

Step-by-step rollout plan

What to start with, what to defer, and who is responsible for what. Not a slide deck, but a plan your team can actually follow.

Why 2thepoint

We don’t sell an off-the-shelf system. This is how we work.

Shop floor and controls, not just the office

We start where the data really comes from: the paper next to the machine, the terminal, the scanner or the PLC. The solution has to work at the workstation — with gloves on, in the noise, under time pressure — not only on an office screen.

We build on what you already have

We don’t replace your ERP or MES for the sake of it. We add integrations, screens and automations to the systems your plant already uses, instead of a heavy platform that takes years to roll out.

In stages, checked at the workstation

We roll out one area, check it with the people in the plant, and only then move on. No single large rollout that the plant has to wait months for.

Same people, start to finish

The people who run the audit also build the solution and maintain it. No handover between analyst, delivery team and support, so no context is lost.

Every recommendation tied to ROI

Hours saved, fewer rejects, faster answers when someone asks where an order is. If we can’t tie a recommendation to a measurable result, we don’t make it.

Who we are

Magdalena Grzejdak

CEO

I have managed projects and teams at many IT companies in Wrocław, including work for clients abroad.

At 2thepoint I run the company and handle the client side of each project: scope, deadlines and communication with the plant’s management.

Jerzy Sznitko

Founder, software engineer

I have spent years building custom software for manufacturing and intralogistics.

I work where that software runs: on the shop floor, with PLCs, ERP integrations and systems that run 24/7 and cannot stop.

I started 2thepoint to bring that experience to manufacturers whose ERP does not reflect what happens on the shop floor.

Projects are delivered by our team: software engineers build the ERP integrations and shop-floor software, and on the automation side we connect machines and PLCs. So one supplier is responsible for the whole data path, from the machine to the ERP.

Shop-floor-to-ERP data flow review

The audit, narrowed to one question: how order information moves from the ERP to the shop floor and back — where it is re-typed, where it gets lost and what that costs. Fixed scope, agreed before we start.

  • Interviews on the floor: planning, shift leaders, operators
  • Map of the order flow: ERP, workstations, quality, warehouse
  • List of places where data is re-typed by hand, with an estimated cost
  • Priorities: what to integrate or automate first, and at what effort
